Animandi: (Navigator on the Heinlein's Folly) Smart, funny, Animandi is officially the Folly's Navigator, but she's also the best combat pilot on her ship. Anita: (Survey Team Leader on the Bernadette) She holds a rank equal to Bart. By experience, she should be the primary leader, but Cap tain Poul trusts Bart more. Artless Bart: (Survey Team Leader on the Bernadette) Unofficially, he is Captain Poul's most trusted advisor. Issha Han: (First Officer on the Bernadette) Serious to the point of being boring. She se cretly fears Captain Poul's preference for Bart's advice. Heinlein's Folly: (Military Ship) Middling in size by military standards, the Heinlein's Folly is still a formi dable ship. Alfred Poul: (Captain of the Colony Ship Bernadette) Obsessed with finding a planet and building himself a cabin somewhere, he is constantly looking to make life on the Bernadette more like life on the ground. Rick: (Navigator on the Bernadette) Good natured, easy-going. He's often the butt of people's jokes. His passion is for his job. Until recently, he was being blamed for getting them lost. They now know it was a computer glitch. Andrew Tottum: (Quartermaster on the Bernadette) A smart and savvy trader back home. He is finding his skills less and less applicable on the Bernadette. |
